			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<br/><p>Supervises and coordinates activities of production workers to meet the company&#8217;s standards in production and quality.  In the interim, following company policy and building better working relationships with employees and other departments such as maintenance, sanitation and quality control.  Management over 2 production lines and 2 bakery ovens (10-15 employees per line).</p>
<p>As a Bakery Production Supervisor, you would be responsible for:<br />
*  Verifying conformance to specifications (making sure products meet their finished specification)<br />
*  Meeting production quality and cost<br />
*  Maximizing production<br />
*  GMPs, HAACP, SOPs<br />
*  Training employees to perform well<br />
*  Safety of all employees in their area<br />
*  Enforcing and administrating all company rules and policies<br />
*  Interpreting company policies to workers<br />
*  Accident reduction, cost savings, waste reduction, reduced maintenance costs<br />
*  Scheduling production, labor and materials for employee&#8217;s work areas<br />
*  Exhibiting leadership qualities by maintaining a high level of department moral, open communication and motivating employees to perform at their maximum capabilities<br />
*  Analyzing and resolving work problems, assist workers in solving work problems</p>
<p>*  Minimum of 3yrs Supervisory experience in the BAKING INDUSTRY<br />
*  Previous union experience<br />
*  Bachelor&#8217;s degree in management, operations or business is a plus<br />
*  Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus</p>
<p>Positive Attributes include -<br />
Communication skills:  must express self clearly and effectively when talking with individuals and groups<br />
Control:  establish techniques to effectively monitor and supervise the work of subordinates and the results of delegated assignments<br />
Cooperation:  must work well with other people, take time to help co-workers and others to achieve their goals and assignments</p>
